Truckstop Technology

An article titled “Truckstop of the Future” recently appeared in Stop Watch magazine, which discussed new innovations and technology. We believe plug-in stations (Truck Stop Electrification) will also be part of future truckstops as the long term benefits of idle reduction and fuel savings are unquestionable. Some of the innovations discussed include: purchasing items and getting delivery at the pump, more grab-and-go food selection, drive-through lanes for C-store purchases, drive through scales, better parking and store layouts, smartphone apps, and real-time feedback using computer kiosks.
