The price to fully charge a Leaf at Oregon’s current electrical rates is around $2.40. If a driver were to plug a car into a standard Level 2 station for an hour while, say, getting a latte, that would pull about 15 cents worth of electricity. It wouldn’t be worthwhile for a retailer to process a payment at that rate.”
