DesignFax Online – April 2005

DesignFax Online,  an electronic magazine for Design and Development Engineers wrote about alternative approaches to powering HVAC in diesel trucks. Namely, a product developed by Caterpillar, Inc. call the MorElectric System. This allows trucks to run HVAC through an on-board electric generator which has plug-in “shore power” capability. The article features a photo of a Shorepower pedestal and discusses the revolution in Truck Stop Electrification.
