KATU, the Portland, Oregon ABC television affiliate covered the opening of Shorepower pedestals at Jubitz Travel Center. The story reports that the Shorepower pedestals allow 
truckers to run their refrigerator units, air conditioners and keep their engines warm in the winter. The power stations also offer cable television and WiFi Internet connection. The new pedestals are estimated to save truckers $1.3 million a year.
