Shorepower truck stop electrification (TSE) benefits everyone. If you're a Driver, Shorepower means no more idling, noise and vibration during layovers. Start Using Shorepower TSE

To enjoy the benefits of Shorepower you need 3 things:

1) An appliance or electrical device for your truck cab that uses 110-volt alternating current (AC). This could be a heater, air conditioning unit, microwave, coffee maker, TV, DVD player, laptop, lights, refrigerator, etc.

2) A heavy-duty extension cord like the one shown below on the left, to plug into the Shorepower pedestal.  A 12-gauge or larger cord is recommended.  If you don't have a heavy-duty extension cord you can buy one at a Shorepower equipped travel plaza.  See the network of Shorepower travel plazas here. 

 
3) A Shorepower account or credit card to open a new Shorepower account or to buy a single use service. To open a Shorepower account or purchase a single use service call 1-888-841-3137.

When you have completed Steps 1 - 3 pull your rig into a parking space at a travel plaza equipped with Shorepower pedestals and follow the connection instructions on the sign.
